Some people’s parcels will be late due to an earlier accident

A courier bakkie overturned on the R545 Kriel/Bethal Road this morning, leaving two individuals injured. The driver attributed the accident to running over a pothole.

A courier bakkie overturned, leaving the driver and co-driver injured this morning on the R545 Kriel/Bethal Road.

Percival Motloung, from Percival Emergency Medical Services, explained, “The driver said he ran over a pothole, lost control of the car, and sustained moderate injuries, while the co-driver sustained minor injuries”.

The patients were transported to Bethal Hospital by Provincial EMS. The courier bakkie was travelling from eMalahleni to Bethal when the accident occurred, with parcels scattered at the accident scene.
