Accident on N12 due to heavy fog

Motorists warned as thick fog leads to series of N12 pile-ups

The notorious N12 s-bends highway is a hotspot for fog-related accidents, with multiple incidents reported in recent weeks.

The first major accident occurred on April 11, followed by another on May 7, then May 13, and now, yet again, on May 16.

Each of these crashes has been attributed to poor visibility caused by thick fog, raising concerns about road safety and the need for heightened caution among motorists.

Local authorities continue to warn motorists about the dangers of driving in fog and have urged drivers to adjust their speed and remain vigilant.

With winter approaching, fog-related accidents may become even more frequent, making it crucial for drivers to prioritize safety on the roads.
