Parents, don’t miss your chance. Admission for the 2026 school year is still open.
According to the Department of Education, the admission window is open from May 2 to August 31.
The MEC for Education, Cathy Dlamini, urges parents and guardians to act promptly and register their children at their nearest schools. “Your cooperation in this regard is essential to help schools prepare adequately for the year ahead and to guarantee a conducive learning environment for all learners. Let us work together and take advantage of this opportunity to secure the future of our children because every learner matters and every day counts.”
Parents are advised to visit their nearest school to register their children and submit the required documents, including the learner’s birth certificate or identity document, immunisation card, and proof of residence.
