Learner wins bicycle in Laerskool Panorama pop-a-balloon competition

From small treats to even bigger rewards, every learner who pops a balloon is guaranteed to win something.

Laerskool Panorama recently ushered the learners into yet another thrilling session of their pop-a-balloon competition, which got learners winning incredible prizes.

On May 23, the school community engaged in a fun-filled activity that was introduced on May 16 and will be taking place every Friday until June 11.

The learners have to pay an amount of R10 to pop a balloon, and were allowed to buy as many balloons as they wanted. The most exciting part is that each balloon contains a prize, which is all a mystery until the balloon is popped.

“The event is open to all learners in the school, and many have been taking advantage of the opportunity to win exciting prizes,” said Marilein Hauzer, one of the organisers of the competition.

One lucky learner, Kgomotso Makoea, won a skateboard and a bicycle, sparking so much excitement among his peers.

Marilein explained that at the end of the competition, the parents will also get to take part in a special raffle and a pop-a-balloon, especially for them.
