Nkangala District Municipality strengthens media ties
The district municipality engaged with all the media houses to reaffirm its desire for collaboration with the press.
The Nkangala District Municipality hosted a media engagement session recently.
This session saw print, radio and television media houses interacting with the district municipality on several pressing matters.
The session on May 29, hosted by the district municipality provided an open forum of discussion on key developments and challenges from the both the district and the media.
Mr Kgomotso Madihlaba, Nkangala District Municipality divisional manager: communication, marketing and branding outlined the purpose of the session and introduced the district municipality’s communication strategy
The media engagement session concluded with a reaffirmation from the district municipality desire for continued collaboration with the press.
Both parties acknowledged the importance of accurate and timely reporting in building public trust and facilitating community participation in local governance.
