Gear up for greatness- Mayor Nhlapo delivers a message for the youth

The message that was delivered digitally will be followed by a Youth Day Memorial Lecture taking place in Klarinet today.

The Emalahleni Local Municipality Executive Mayor, Vusi Nhlapho delivered an encouraging message for the youth of the City of Coal as they celebrate Youth Day.

The message highlighted and reminded the youth to ‘Gear up for greatness’

“As we commemorate Youth Month under the theme ‘Skills for the changing world,’ we are reminded that the strength of our nation lies in the hands of its young people. It is our responsibility to ensure they are empowered with relevant skills, supported with opportunities, and inspired to reach their full potential. Let us work together to create an environment where youth can lead innovation, drive economic growth, and shape a future we can all be proud of,” said Nhlapho.

The Youth Day Memorial Lecture later today will feature the mayor, the MMC for Finance Faith Msibi and Leslie Ntuli.
