New friendships formed at New Life Church outreach in eMalaheni

King George Park was buzzing with activity last weekend as volunteers from New Life Church hosted an outreach for the homeless.

New Life Church concluded a very successful outreach at King George Park last weekend.

Volunteers from the church dedicated June 21 to the homeless. There were mobile showers, a hair-cutting station, foot washing, a clothing station, and a warm meal and fruit for each of the less privileged.

The atmosphere was one of genuine warmth and dignity. Beyond the immediate provision of physical necessities, the outreach shared the love and hope of Jesus.

New Life Church extended its deepest thanks to all the volunteers, donors, and partner organisations who contributed their time, resources, and expertise.

“I am so grateful for this day,” said 79-year-old Agnus Ndlovhu.

She said life is hard, but as long as there are people who care, it becomes bearable.

Albion Mthubuthi could not wait to taste the warm meal given to him.

“It was a cold night, but this meal warms me,” he chuckled.
