Lifeless body with injuries found in Phola

Phola Police seeks community assistance as they investigate the cause of the man’s death.

A shocking discovery of a dead body has left Phola residents in shock yesterday.

According to the police, on July 10 in the afternoon they received information from a concerned resident notifying them of a discovery of a lifeless body in their area.

When they arrived at the scene, they found the man’s body with visible injuries, suggesting he was killed violently.

“Indeed, a man was found lifeless yesterday in the afternoon, and we cannot give a clear description of what he was wearing, but he had several injuries. A case of murder was opened,” Phola Police Station spokesperson, Sergeant Thabang Ntuli said.

The police are now asking the community for their help. Anyone who saw anything strange in the area, or if they have any information that could help the investigation, is urged to come forward. You can contact the Phola Police branch commander, Captain Tumiso Morajane at 082 303 9915.
