Nature in the palm of a hand – cheeky bird pops in for lunch

We encourage our readers to share their videos and photos with us.

Wildlife enthusiast Louis Broodryk had an exciting time at Lower Sabie’s Sunset Dam.

Louis took guests from abroad to experience wildlife at its best. When they stopped to take photos, the little bird came closer to ‘introduceitself.

Louis took breadcrumbs and put them on the side window of the car. The curious feathered friend eagerly enjoyed this lunch.

Louis put some crumbs in the palm of his hand and stretched his hand out.

All of a sudden, the little guy landed on Louis’ hand and started pecking away.

It is in moments like these when you realise how big God is. This was a moment in time where everything around me stood still,” Louis said.

Louis promised to send us more photos and videos of his travels.
