3 crocs spotted in dam a few kilometres from eMalahleni
Authorities warn against swimming in dams close to Blesboklaagte as three crocs were spotted.
Three crocodiles were spotted in a dam at Blesboklaagte.
The community is advised not to swim in any dam or stream in the area.
Traps were set to try and catch the crocs.
“If you encounter the crocodiles, maintain a safe distance and do not attempt to feed them or disturb them in any way,” said Piet Wassenaar, who is working closely with the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency.
Wassenaar has, in the past, caught many crocodiles in the area.
