Man in ICU after brutal attack

The suspect in the case was arrested, and according to Mnisi, he remains in custody pending trial.

A young man is fighting for his life at a local hospital after he was attacked in Kwa-Guqa Extensions last week.

According to the police, the officers who were on duty were called to a local hospital, where they saw the victim in a critical condition, and their preliminary investigation revealed that he had been beaten.

“The victim was in the ICU when we observed him; we noticed that he was breathing with a ventilator machine with external bruises on his face and stitches on his body,” said Vosman SAPS spokesperson, Captain Vusi Mnisi.

The man was beaten on September 14, and an attempted murder case was opened on September 17.

This is a developing story.
