‘Cupcake-angels’ wants to make a difference this weekend

National Cupcake Day falls on September 27 – Pop around to Ben Fleur Boulevard, get some cupcakes, and make a difference in the lives of young cancer patients.

This weekend is National Cupcake Day, and in eMalahleni you can also be a part of this nationwide initiative to make a difference in the lives of young cancer patients.

Your contribution, whether it is baking a cupcake or two, donating ingredients, or buying cupcakes, is the key ingredient of this project aimed to fund essential services such as treatment, emotional support, and research, bringing hope and comfort to families navigating the unimaginable challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

This year’s theme is bake it forward, because every cupcake you bake brings hope, love, and support to a child fighting cancer.

Here is how you can get involved:
You can pledge to bake 24, 48, or 96 cupcakes.

Drop it off at Del Forno on Friday and on Saturday, the cupcakes will be sold in front of Del Forno.

The WITBANK NEWS team will also be there, so pop around and say hello.
