SAPS seeks families of two men found decomposed in Ferrobank bushes

“Even if you have a missing relative not matching the two discovered, please come forward so that we can also search for them,” said Captain Vusi Mnisi.

The Vosman SAPS is seeking assistance from the public to help identify two men’s bodies that were found in the Ferrobank bushes recently.
One of the unidentified decomposed bodies was discovered after the police had gone to the bushes to trace a missing man.
The second body was later discovered in the same area shortly after, on October 9.

According to the Vosman SAPS spokesperson, Captain Vusi Mnisi, in the first discovery, the police were tracing a missing man around 09:00 when they came across a decomposed body of a man in the open field of Ferrobank, and the cause of death was not clear.

In the second discovery, the police received a tip-off from a resident, and when they arrived at the scene around 12:00, they found another decomposed body of a man.

“A body was found wearing a red t-shirt without trousers, and all the role players were summoned to the scene,” said Mnisi. “The two bodies were found burnt, and we don’t know yet what led to their deaths.”

As the two bodies remain unidentified, the police are pleading with anyone with a missing relative to come forward and help identify the bodies.

The SAPS is also urging anyone with information that can help in solving the two inquests to contact Mnisi directly at 082 923 1180.
