TFC women gather to pause, reflect, and pour into their cups

The gathering served as a reminder that showing up for yourself and for another is its own kind luxury.

The Flamboyance Clique (TFC) movement in eMalahleni recently ushered its ladies, ‘Pearls in Bloom’, who embody grace, brilliance, and boldness, into one of their fulfilling sessions, which served as a serene celebration of sisterhood, reflection, and creative flow.
On October 11, the bright glasses of VW Witbank contained a vibey yet soothing atmosphere as the Pearls in Bloom gathered to practice the art of pausing, reflecting, and simply being.

“It wasn’t just an event; it was a gentle reminder that showing up for yourself and for each other is its own kind of luxury,” said Nompumelelo Mondlane, founder of the movement.

The ladies shared in a beautiful moment, draped in soft power, stillness, and shared energy that took them through warm conversations and empowering discussions led by various speakers, down to creative moments that enabled them to express themselves through paint, which went down with gentle notes of music.

“Every element whispered healing, elegance, and feminine grace,” Nompumelelo said.

The organisation didn’t start impacting lives now, but since its establishment in 2019, it has grown and strengthened in its commitment to providing a safe space for women and reigniting the fire within them so that they may confidently build their businesses, careers, and networks while having a good time.

“TFC is more than a social gathering; it is an expression of kinship, a safe haven for women to unwind, recharge, connect, collaborate, reflect, revel, and be reminded that no woman has to journey alone,” the founder shared.

The ladies who had been a part of the movement for some time had shared sentiments regarding the event and the movement at large. “TFC never disappoints, we can’t wait for our next gathering so we can get to meet and mingle with purpose, again,” they said.

“We poured into each other, we reflected, and we bloomed, together,” Nompumelelo concluded, adding that they shall continue with their initiative to encourage and promote the spirit of women showing up for women.
