Fun run and dog walk for charity coming soon in eMalahleni
The funds raised in the event will benefit organisations such as the SPCA and the Highveld Society for the Disabled.
Highveld Park Neighbourhood Watch invites you to one of their annual fundraising events coming soon.
The event, aimed at giving back to the community, will be hosted on November 8 at Raku and will benefit organisations such as the SPCA and the Highveld Society for the Disabled.
The activities that will take place include a fun run and a dog walk.
Entry fees are R20 per person and R20 per dog on the day. A gaming chair raffle ticket will be sold for R25, and food such as boerewors rolls and cold drinks will also be sold at the event.
Participants are urged to wear white T-shirts, as colour bombs will be on sale to make the shirts as colourful as possible.
“We encourage people to come together to support, so that they can get some fresh air and give their doggies a treat,” said Kathy Conway from the neighbourhood watch, adding that participating in the event will enable families to spend quality time together over a good cause. “Bring your family, friends, and furry companions for a morning of fun, colour, and community spirit,” Kathy said.
Registrations will start at 08:00 on the day, with the walk starting at 09:00 at Raku Lounge at 28 Prinsberg Avenue, Highveld Park.
