Have you seen Richard’s bicycle?

The enthusiastic cyclist said the bicycle is brand new and he is offering a substantial award for the person who finds his bicycle.

Richard Mafokwane from Tasbet Park is pleading for the public’s help in finding his lost bicycle.

The cyclist said he had just returned to his place in Ridgeway Estate from an afternoon ride when he parked his seven-week-old expensive bicycle outside to fetch items to clean it, as it was dirty.

“When I came back in a space of 20 minutes, my bicycle was gone,” he said.

What makes matters worse is that Richard said it was his first time riding the bike, as he normally uses another one for training.

“I bought this one specifically for races because cycling is my sport,” he shared, adding that the loss has left him stressed and unable to think clearly.

A case has been opened, and investigations are underway.

Richard has released a R5 000 reward for anyone who can provide information leading to the recovery of his bicycle.

Residents with any information on the missing bike are urged to contact Richard at 079 352 8177.
