On December 10, a 40-year-old man was approached while parking his Toyota bakkie. Three armed men held him at gunpoint, robbing him of his boots, laptop, and cellphone before driving away in his vehicle.
The violence escalated on December 12 in Hlalanikahle. A father, who had just dropped his daughter off, was pulled from his golden Toyota GD6.
Vosman Police spokesperson Captain Vusi Mnisi said that the suspects not only took the vehicle but also fled with R5 000 in cash and the victim’s .38 Special revolver which was inside the bakkie.
