The OR Tambo bend lived up to its dangerous reputation tonight when a driver of a Toyota Corolla reportedly lost control of his vehicle.

The impact was severe enough to send the car through a brick wall, and landing several meters further.

Provincial traffic officers are currently at the site.

The exact cause of the accident is still to be determined.
