The Klarinet family is reeling after the death of Esther Ndubazi (62), a devoted mother and grandmother, found dead at her boyfriend’s home on New Year’s Day.
Her family describes her as the “pillar of our home” and said they are struggling to come to terms with the tragedy.
According to police, Ndubazi was discovered lying on the floor, facing upwards, with a visible cut on her chin at MNS. Witbank Police spokesperson Captain Eddie Hall confirmed that the boyfriend was arrested at the scene and then appeared in court on January 2, where the matter was postponed to January 5 due to the absence of witness statements.
On January 5, the state prosecutor again indicated that no statements were available, and the suspect was released due to insufficient evidence.
Police are now appealing to the public for help. Anyone with information about Ndubazi ’s death is urged to contact Constable Khanye Mathebula at 063 753 2864.
Her family said they will not rest until justice is served, and they hope the community will come forward to help solve this case.
