Work on the external water scheme should be done and dusted tonight, and the water scheme is expected to start up later this evening.

Municipal spokesperson Lebo Mofokeng said the valve repair work at the Witbank Water Treatment Plant has also been completed.

“The plant is currently optimising its processes to improve the water quality and quantity.”
