Two suspects to appear in court for Siyanqoba robbery and rape

Two suspects linked to a Siyanqoba house robbery and rape case are expected to appear in court, while a third suspect is still at large.

Two men accused of raping a woman during a house robbery in Siyanqoba are expected to appear in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court today.

The incident took place in September last year when three suspects broke into the victim’s home while she was sleeping with her children.

Police said the suspects gained entry after smashing a bedroom window.

The woman moved her children to another room before being confronted by the suspects.

One of the men allegedly pointed a firearm at her and demanded money before she was forced into another bedroom and raped.
