Ed-U-College warns the public amid circulating false Valentine’s Bash post

The institution is setting the record straight, as the circulating post about a “Valentine Bash” is unauthorised and unknown to them.

eMalahhleni residents are being urged to remain vigilant after a false event advertisement began circulating under the name of Ed-U-College Witbank.

The misleading post, which falsely used the school’s name and logo, has no connection to the institution. Ed-U-College Witbank has confirmed that the so-called ‘Valentine’s Bash’ is entirely fabricated.

The school emphasised that it has never—and will never—sell or provide alcohol to learners. Furthermore, no Valentine’s Bash or any similar event has been planned, approved, or hosted by the school.

Ed-U-College Witbank has called on parents, learners, and community members to report the false advertisement across social media platforms. By doing so, the community can help prevent the spread of misinformation and protect the reputation of the school. In its statement, the institution offered sincere apologies to families and supporters for any confusion caused.

It reassured the public that all necessary steps are being taken to remove the false content and safeguard the school’s integrity.
