Yes Chef!
The 50 HTA School of Culinary Art graduates are now ready to cook up a storm in any kitchen.
The HTA School of Culinary Art’s Training and Development Graduation saw 50 chefs step into a whole new chapter.
On Friday, April 17, Chef Kabelo Segone, managing director of HTA, said the graduates are now formally ready to cook up a storm.
Chef Kabelo played an integral role in this programme.
He hosted hands-on training to equip the learner chefs with essential skills in plating and food presentation.
The training provided learners with practical techniques to enhance the visual appeal and professionalism of their dishes.

In a special address, Thakhu Trading’s director, Jeremy Mbatha, said it took a year for the learner chefs to show what they are capable of. He said he was very proud of the now-qualified chefs.
Jessica Boriwondo Betsva, who has an honoury degree in hospitality and tourism, left some golden nuggets on the young chefs’ plates: “You showed up and dished up discipline, consistency, and performed well under pressure. You made us proud. This is not the end; this is the beginning of a wonderful career.”
