HTS battles hard in Boys Nkangala League clash

Despite HTS’s efforts, MHS didn’t make it possible for them to equalize in the end.

HTS Witbank’s hockey first team had a match to remember in the Boys Nkangala League encounter against Middelburg Hoërskool recently.

The match kicked off on April 29.

According to the coach, Anel Tolmay, the match was a nail-biting contest, filled with intensity and skill, as both sides fought fiercely for dominance.

Despite a strong performance and relentless effort from the HTS boys, the scoreboard ended 2–1 in favour of MHS. HTS came close to equalising, but time ran out before they could convert their chances.

“The team has a great season ahead of them. We are very proud,” said Anel.

The players left the field with heads held high, knowing they had given their all.
