RCS rising rugby stars need your support

The five talented players worked tirelessly for the opportunities to play for the Pumas, and they need your donations to go further.

Five exceptional young rugby players from the City of Coal have earned the honour of representing the Mpumalanga province in the upcoming U13 Craven Week, Academy Week, and U12A Team tournaments.

The players are Lukhanyo Nhlapo (U13 Craven Week), Junior Moloko (U13 Craven Week), Kgosi Makolane (U13 Academy), Khaya Sema (U13 Academy), and Njabulo Khumalo (U12A Team). Each of them has worked tirelessly to reach this milestone, and now they stand ready to compete at the provincial level.

However, the journey comes with costs. The total expense for training camps, provincial matches, full kits, transport, tournament fees, and accommodation amounts to R60 500. For Kgosi, Khaya, Lukhanyo, and Junior, the cost is R12 500 each, while Njabulo’s cost is R10 500. To secure their spots, each player must pay half of their fees by May 15, with the balance due by May 27.

This is where the community can make a difference. Sponsorship will ensure that financial constraints do not prevent the boys from competing.

The school is inviting businesses and individuals to partner with them in helping these rising stars achieve their dreams. Every contribution, big or small, will go a long way in making this opportunity possible for Kgosi, Junior, Khaya, Lukhanyo, and Njabulo.
