Girls with tiny feet have big goals

The courts were filled with giggles and smiles of the eager little netball stars.

The PEP mini-netball landed in eMalahleni, and Laerskool Kragbron was a hive of activity as the little ones took to the netball court.

All this action happened on May 9.

PEP first launched PEP mini netball festivals in April 2023 in partnership with South African Schools Netball. This initiative, aimed at reaching young girls aged seven to 10, was designed to create a nurturing, supportive environment that fosters play, learning, and social interaction – key aspects of any childhood.

These festivals mark the start of what promises to be a life-changing experience for the young girls participating. The skills and values imparted to them during these festivals are not confined to the netball court; they are life skills and tools they carry with them as they navigate the complexities of life, emerging as true champions in every sense.
