Founders Hub launched in eMalahleni to support local entrepreneurs
Nompumelelo Mondlane shared that the hub is aimed at creating meaningful spaces where founders can exchange ideas, build valuable relationships, gain practical insights, and celebrate one another’s wins.
Women in eMalahleni recently came together at a local restaurant to witness the launch of the Founders Hub, an initiative aimed at creating a community where founders gather, learn, collaborate, and genuinely support one another’s growth.
According to Nompumelelo Mondlane, the founder of the hub, which was launched on July 21, the idea was born from a personal desire to create the kind of space she wished had existed when she was starting out.
“Entrepreneurship can be lonely, and many founders spend so much time building their businesses that they rarely have opportunities to connect with people who truly understand the journey,” Mondlane said.
“Our mission is to create meaningful spaces where founders can exchange ideas, build valuable relationships, gain practical insights, and celebrate one another’s wins.”
The founder explained that the organisation stands for connection, collaboration, community, and intentional growth.
The inaugural meet-up brought together a diverse group of founders and entrepreneurs, including business owners from industries such as beauty and wellness, food and hospitality, fashion, creative services, consulting, social impact, network marketing, professional services, and personal brands.
Aspiring entrepreneurs and founders looking to build meaningful connections and grow their businesses were also part of the conversations shared at the gathering.
“The launch exceeded my expectations. One of the highlights was seeing people leave not only with new business connections, but also with a renewed sense of purpose and confidence,” Mondlane said.
Going forward, the organisation plans to host regular networking meet-ups, business masterclasses, founder conversations, workshops, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative events that equip founders with practical tools to build sustainable businesses.
