Man dies following collision on OR Tambo Road

A 21-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision with a heavy-duty vehicle at the corner of OR Tambo Road and Steenkamp Street in Klipfontein this morning.


According to Dino Padayachee from Langamed Emergency Management, they arrived on the scene and found the rider with multiple injuries.


“The man was treated, stabilised, and transported to Life Cosmos hospital,”Padayachee said.


Despite medical intervention, the young man succumbed to his injuries.


The identity of the deceased is being withheld until formal identification by his next of kin.
