Hoërskool Kriel High School’s matric farewell was nothing short of spectacular, as the Class of 2026 stepped into the spotlight with elegance, confidence and flair on August 21.

The evening was filled with laughter, joy and memories that will linger long after the final school bell rings.

Glamour on the red carpet
Learners arrived in style, turning heads with dazzling outfits and glamorous entrances. From flowing gowns to sharp suits, the matriculants showcased their individuality and pride, while luxury vehicles added an extra touch of grandeur to the occasion. The red-carpet atmosphere set the tone for a night of celebration, marking the end of their school journey and the beginning of new chapters.

The farewell was more than just a glamorous event – it was a celebration of resilience, friendship and achievement.

A milestone to remember
The atmosphere was alive with excitement as teachers, parents and peers applauded the matriculants for their hard work and dedication.

“It was wonderful to see our matric learners dressed up, enjoying themselves and celebrating this special milestone with their friends and teachers. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making the evening so special,” said school representative Vicky Oosthuizen.

“We are incredibly proud of our matric class and wish them nothing but success, happiness and exciting opportunities as they step into the next chapter of their lives.”
