Over 130 000 votes decide who is the best of the best
The Best of Emalahleni got onto the stage with the whole of the country and winners will now get exposure on a national platform.
The Best of Emalahleni Readers’ Choice Awards are done and dusted and there are smiles all around as businesses are checking into social media with well-deserved bragging rights.
The awards recognised the businesses nominated and voted for by the community at a function held at Mercy Tree Manor this morning.
“This was a celebration of excellence and looking at the number of votes, our readers went all out,” said the editor, Zita Goldswain.
“Congratulations to each winner, second and third runners-up,” Goldswain said.
This year voters got the chance to cast their votes in eight categories with 97 sub categories.
In total, 130 023 votes were received.
The “Living” category received the most votes – 29 516.
