N12 still open

The N12 is still open for road users after being closed this morning due to multiple motor vehicle accidents.

The N12 closed this morning.

The N12 was closed from eMalahleni to Johannesburg to ensure the safety of road users after multiple vehicle accidents this morning. 

 

Two serious accidents occurred, one near the Merriedale bridge and the other near the S-bent curve.

 

The N12 opened again earlier today and remains open for travel.
