There may finally be light in KwaGuqa this afternoon

Residents of KwaGuqa will be happy to hear that the new transformer may be delivered to the site this afternoon.

Emalahleni Local Municipality indicated that the manufacturer of the new transformer for KwaGuqa confirmed that it is ready to be loaded this morning and delivered this afternoon.

 

The municipality indicated that there is confirmation of full payment of the invoice, arrangement of transportation, completion of radiators and rigging, and reparation of the license and route.

 

The municipality further indicated that it has prepared the substation for the transformer and ensured the road is maintained for its delivery.

 

Traffic officers were also arranged to control traffic.

 

According to the municipality, it’s all systems go, and they are only waiting for the departure and arrival of the transformer.
