It was such a rare occurrence; a video was taken of traffic cops giving chase after a man skipped the stop street at the Safari Supermarket stop.

Yes, it is official – traffic cops are not extinct. It first started out with disbelief on October 30 as the driver of a bakkie came speeding behind the traffic and skipped the notorious three-way-stop.

Unfortunately for him, traffic cops came from the opposite direction, made a U-turn, and gave chase.

The atmosphere went from disbelief to excitement as the whole event unfolded in front of the vehicle Witbank News journalists were traveling in.
