Emalahleni United FC recently made a statement in the SAFA Nkangala Hollywoodbets Regional League new season, which started last month, securing a win against Maroto FC.

The tight match on December 6 kicked off at 12:30 and had both teams fighting hard for a win. However, Emalahleni United FC dominated with a 2-0 victory against Maroto FC, placing them in fourth place at the league table, with three points.

Emalahleni Ambassadors FC is currently at the top of the league with five points, followed closely by TUT eMalahleni FC with four points.

“After our loss in our first game against TUT, we really needed this win, and we look forward to more great games and more wins,” said Metro Bodibe, Emalahleni United FC chairman.

The Maroto FC chairman, Angie Mathale, on the other hand, expressed great disappointment over their loss, with plans to pull up their socks in their next matches that will come as the league progresses.

“We are really disappointed about our loss to Emalahleni United FC, especially since the league just started, but we are assuredly going to work twice as hard for our next games to ensure that we secure the top place in the league table,” Angie said.
