SoGutjhe Royal House and Africoal make the festive season merrier for vulnerable families

SoGutjhe Royal House and Africoal bring festive relief to vulnerable families.

The SoGutjhe Royal House, in partnership with Africoal and the Waya Waya Movement, spread festive cheer today through a major grocery distribution program aimed at supporting the elderly, child-headed households, and individuals living with disabilities.

The outreach on December 10 focused on providing nutritious food parcels to improve the well-being and quality of life for beneficiaries. Organisers highlighted that access to healthy food is especially crucial for the elderly and children, as well as people with disabilities who face additional daily challenges.

Ndabezitha Sipho Sombali Mahlangu from the royal house said, “We applaud Africoal for giving back to the community. We appreciate that our elderly and children won’t go hungry during this season. We hope more employment opportunities are created so the community is able to provide for themselves.”
