Zinhle Skhosana vies for Mrs Mpumalanga 2026 crown

With a heart to serve, Mrs Mpumalanga 2026 finalist Zinhle Skhosana has been on a journey to promote wellness and to remind women that they deserve to grow, too.
The 33-year-old Kwa-Guqa resident said her journey began with her eagerness to grow and serve.
“Becoming a Mrs Mpumalanga finalist wasn’t something I planned overnight. It started with a question: ‘How can I grow and serve at the same time?’” she said. “My goal is to leave the platform better than I found it and to inspire other women to chase growth.”
As a mother and educator dedicated to serving others, Skhosana said that pageantry has reminded her to invest in herself through wellness, self-care, and faith.

She said that although she started with just a heart for wellness, mental health, and service, the journey has pushed her out of her comfort zone.
“I’ve learned to approach sponsors, seek assistance, and say yes to learning new things,” Skhosana said. “Every step has been about growth.”
She said that apart from being announced as a finalist, some of her best moments have been connecting with other women, growing in confidence, and learning to walk, speak, and show up with purpose.
The model has already started showing up through her charity drive, collecting toiletries for hygiene packs to be donated to children.
With her eyes set on the ceremony on November 14, Skhosana dreams of bringing the crown home so that her voice and advocacy will reach more hearts.
“Winning Mrs Mpumalanga would mean having a bigger platform to advocate for wellness and mental health,” she said. “The crown is not about me. It’s about the message that we can be whole and healed.”
