Cold and wet conditions to persist in eMalahleni in the next 24 hours
Residents are urged to keep warm and stay extra vigilant on the roads as the cold weather and rainfall continue.
The cold weather is expected to remain the same for the next 24 hours in eMalahleni.
Following the sharp cold front which brought a significant drop in temperatures across Mpumalanga since yesterday, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) has confirmed that residents can continue to expect cold and wet conditions throughout the day.
“It won’t get worse, but after tomorrow, it will start to get better,” said Tokelo Chiloane, senior weather forecaster at SAWS. “We are still going to experience some showers and drizzle, which will compromise visibility, and that is what we are worried about.”
Residents are urged to dress warmly, keep their pets indoors, be vigilant on the roads, and take necessary precautions against the cold.
