What you reap you shall sow
Whenever I hear of someone’s misfortune and what they have gone through, I always try and think of why the person would knowingly cause anyone harm or make them suffer. I mean you have to try and understand all sides before you can lay judgement down but sometimes when you can’t fathom the situation or even begin to see the reasoning behind an action of a person you leave it to a certain individual; karma.
I am a firm believer in what you put into the world you shall receive. Be good and good things will happen. Be bad and well, you get where I’m going with this. Like when I tease buddy with a piece of food and eat all of it, I find a present on our carpet the next morning. Every action has a reaction.
My colleague told me about a story she is doing which involved a man who has been part of a car syndicate for years and of course incurred debt with the wrong people. Out shopping one day he was hunted down and shot because of him being involved in stealing the wrong people’s money. Karma is indeed a bitch.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t condone people being shot not at all, but don’t think you can outrun karma. It is bigger than we can imagine and has a very big reach. Sometimes it’s instant, sometimes it can take years but she will visit you.
The thing we need to realise is that no matter where we find ourselves and how hard life is coming down on us, we still need to treat people with respect and not try to scheme or con our ways into money or good graces because it will be nice for a while, but it will hurt for much longer.
Buddy is looking at me with utter disgust as I eat my last piece of meat and didn’t share with him. Seems like karma wants me to clean carpets again.
