The Acting Municipal Manager, on your facebook page you posted a graph with the following heading : ‘Status of Eskom Main Account September 30’ last week saying that the we are now out of the winter period as clearly seen with the current account dropping from R102m to R58m. You also mentioned your meeting with Eskom regarding closing the gap between the Eskom account and the actual cost recovery from end users which we appreciate – any progress?
Please then explain to us why we are still paying this month the hopefully last (higher) winter period account? If there is a good / valid explanation, then we as ratepayers should then be expecting better service delivery with the extra millions you are going to collect this month – or not?
With your comments in mind to El Torro in the WITBANK NEWS of 18 September.
