Behind the scenes of Dakar with Brett
eMalahleni’s Brett Cummings hosted a evening to thank his sponsors and to share his experience with his loved ones and friends.
A Behind the Scenes Evening was held on Tuesday, February 18 at News Café in Highveld Mall.
The main purpose of the evening was to join Brett in celebrating his return after another successful Dakar Rally as he competed in the Malle Moto class.
Brett had his trophies, helmet and kit on display. He also went through all the stages on a slide show where each stage was explained by Brett.
Brett came second in the Malle Moto class, third in the Marathon class and 28th overall.
Afterwards Brett gave all his sponsors a token of his appreciation for helping him this year with the Dakar once again.
The big question on everyone’s lips; “will he be competing again next year.”
“Well we will have to see what happens this year,” said Brett.
