Powerboat race for Cancer

The South African Pleasure Boat Association (SAPBA) will be hosting a boat race day at the end of the month, don’t miss it.

Make Saturday, May 24 a must to be out by the dam, it’s going to a social race for SAPBA as they are going to have some sprints, drags and top end runs. There is going to be lots of action on the water where juniors, F30, hard bottoms boats, pencil ducks and jet skis will be competing.

In addition there will be a F2 boat that competed in the F2 world championships last year for some extra attraction and fun.

SAPBA will be hosting the event to support two patients in the eMalahleni area that has cancer namely Hendrik Botha (20) and Gerye Ludeke (8). Both of these patients require medical needs that are costing them a lot of money. The race will be held as a fund raiser for the two patients where as all the money of the day will go for their needs.

Come and join the SAPBA at Barham Bay (Steve’s Place). It will cost R20 per person, R10 per person (children under 12) and R10 per car.
