Shooting at targets
The best performance for the day was from Corne Roos from Gauteng. He won the competition with a time of 105 seconds and scoring only 11 points down.
The Witbank Defense Pistol Club hosted a league competition on Sunday, June 8. It was a fun filled day, where participants had to shoot at targets for different scenarios.
eMalahleni men won the entire single action division for Sharpshooters, Theuns Grobler (Bronze), Erich Bezuidenhout (Silver) and Jaco Schon (gold).
Other Medal winners from eMalahleni included: Melissa Gleaser (Novice gold and Ladies silver), Ruth Batchelor (Novice silver), Roger Scholtz (Marksman silver), ED Rossiter (gold), Marek Stawicki and Michael Ellis (silver in their divisions.)
Willow Glaeser, Johan Botha, Flip du Plessis and Steve Whitmore each won bronze medals in their divisions.
The Chairman, Willem du Plessis thanked everyone for their efforts in presenting this prestige event, especially Ed Rossiter, whose efforts in preparing the range resulted in a faultless presentation.
