Witbank Spurs third win in a row
The win took Spurs to position six on the log with 33 points
Witbank Spurs displayed good football when they gave Pretoria University four of the best.
A moment of silence was observed before the start of the match between the two clubs. Spurs were on the roll as they showed their dominance over AmaTuks, as Pretoria University is also known.

AmaTuks back four led by Brandon Joshua maintained a good wall at the back preventing Spurs wing play. AmaTuks forward missed with a header with Spurs playing too deep giving AmaTuks ample space to play.

In the second half Spurs continued where they left off and scored their second goal through Gumede. While AmaTuks, Koert Kyle and Ryan Chapman played well forward, Miguel Dias and Shane Poggenpoel played well in the middle of the park. Spurs played one of their best games and coming from a moral boosting 2-0 win over AmaZulu the team looks good going forward. Spurs goalkeeper saved a sure penalty from AmaTuks and Doctor Sikhosana controlled the middle field well.

“The win took Spurs to position six on the log with 33 points. Our next game is an away game with Vasco Da Gama FC, which will be played on Saturday, April 15 at the Coetzenberg Stadium. Please make arrangements with the team management if you wish to travel with the team. We hope and wish the best of luck to our boys – #Spurs We Can!,” reads a message from George Khumalo Spurs spokesperson.
