Karou Charou

‘Don’t Dalla Wid Da Masala’ this weekend

Unconventional, brash and brutally-funny, Karou Charou, brings his hilarious solo production, ‘Don’t Dalla Wid Da Masala’ to The Ridge Casino.

The show is taking place on Friday, January 17.

The charismatic Charou will have his audience in stitches with his unapologetic take on topics such as social media, spiritual healers, Michael Jackson and gold teeth, amongst other things. As always, the audience can expect to play a big part in Charou’s show, and the ‘Flop Idols’ set is certain to have everyone gasping with laughter.

True to form, the ‘F-Bombs’ will drop quick and fast from his lips, but Charou is the first to admit that his ‘Toilet Humour’ is  designed purely for entertainment purposes, nothing more,  and he advises all lovers of  ‘fine’ comedy to “park by the pozzie,” loosely translated to mean “not for you, stay at home”. The show carries an over 18, adults only age restriction.

“We are thrilled to have Karou Charou back at The Ridge Casino in January to help set the tone for a happy 2014. Local comedy fans got to experience this charismatic funnyman when he performed his ‘Kama Sutra’ here in 2012. It was a sell-out show and he had his audience in pleats from start to end. We have no doubt that this show will be just as good,” said the casino’s marketing manager, Ms Thapelo Modise.

The show will take place at the casino’s Cinema 4 at 19:00. Tickets cost R100 and are available at the casino’s Customer Service desk.
