Leven rocks Barnyard

eMalahleni, you can be proud. Two of your bands played back to back at the Barnyard last weekend.

The popular local band Leven had the opportunity to open for Prime Circle on Saturday, February 8 and they truly rocked the house.
Leven is no stranger to the stage as they were seen playing at Aardklop and Inniebos before.

Listening to their debut album ‘Fighting Hearts’ gives you a bit of insight of what Stan Kruger, lead singer of the band can do with his voice.

It is only when you see this band perform live, that you suddenly realise how much talent is hidden in the City of Coal.
After the show Ross Learmonth, lead singer of Prime Circle said he became emotional when he heard the band perform.

Prime Circle’s bass guitar player, Marco Gomes said the band reminds him of them more than 13 years ago, practising in garages. Today the band has released five studio albums to date and achieved multi-platinum-selling status in South Africa.

Leven consists of Stan on lead vocals, Rudi Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen on lead guitar, Quintin de Bruyn on bass guitar and Vernon Swart on the drums.
