
DJ Fresh needs no introduction. DJ Fresh (real name Thato Sikwane) is a Botswana-born South African disc jockey and mix master who became known first for his breakfast slot on radio station YFM (which he hosted for eight years) and later as the host of the Drive Time on 5FM.
He was the co-host – with DJ Euphonik – of the SABC1 music magazine series Club Culture, from 2011 to 2012.
DJ Fresh has numerous house albums under his belt and has shared the DJ booth with a number of international artists, including ‘Little Louie’ Vega, Frankie Knuckles, Armad van Helden and Dominic Spreadlove and played in Southport in 2000 and at the legendary Pacha in Ibiza in 2002.
He was also part of a team of DJs who performed at the Miami Winter Music Conference.
This well-known and much-loved DJ will be responsible for some awesome music at The Worx Pub and Grill, formerly The Warehouse, on Friday, November 14 from 18:00 until late.
“The Worx Pub & Grill/Nightclub is a multi-racial/diversity club were everyone is welcome over 18 years,” said owner Leon Pretorius.
Leon said they promise full line-ups from the shisanyama during the week to entertainment from local and international DJs, live shows and the pool parties on weekends with Karaoke on Sundays.
The Worx Pub & Grill/Nightclub is a fully licensed bar with an operational kitchen for the perfect pub lunch.
