Gain by giving

The boys volunteered to sort through Child Welfare’s donated clothes

While most children were having fun in the sun and enjoying a care-free summer holiday, Anathi Bam and Abongiwe Mkhize chose to spend some of their time a little differently this past December.

The boys volunteered to sort through Child Welfare’s donated clothes and get them ready to be given to children in need this festive season.

“A big thank you to the public who donated clothes in 2018, and to Anathi and Abongiwe for volunteering your time for the cause,” said Colleen Vincent of Witbank Child Welfare Society.

“You are both excellent examples of what it means to be caring, contributing members of our community,” she concluded.

If you would like to donate clothes to assist people in need in eMalahleni, please drop them off at Witbank Child Welfare Society located in 40 Jellicoe Street during office hours.
