Houses robbed in Tasbet Park and woman allegedly raped in Klarinet
A woman’s worst nightmare came true when she was allegedly raped.
Two house robbery cases were opened at Witbank Police Station and during one of these robberies, a woman was allegedly raped.
The first incident happened on Saturday, September 18 in Klarinet 18 at 02:00.
The complainant alleged that she was sleeping in her bedroom when she heard a male voice in the house saying she must keep quiet.
Surprised and not sure which way to go, the woman jumped up and that is when she noticed three unknown men standing in her room.
The suspects were armed with firearms, one of the men told her to face the other way, while the other two men started searching around the house.
The woman alleges the one suspect that told her to look the other way and started raping her.
While the other two suspects grabbed various items from the house, once they had taken certain household content the suspects left the house.
It was later discovered that the door was forced open to gain entry into the house.

The previous day another house in Tasbet Park was also burgled.
On Friday, September 17 at 02:30 the complainant alleged that she was sleeping in his bedroom when three unknown men entered his room and pointed a firearm at him.
The suspect took a cell phone and television before leaving the house.
The suspects are unknown to the complainant a case of house robbery was opened at Witbank Police Station.
