Witbank Dam rose to 99.7% overnight
Witbank Dam is showing off all her splendor.
Three sluice gates at Witbank Dam were seen open this morning at 500mm to release 100 cumec.
The opening of the sluice gates follows consistent heavy rains over the past few weeks.
The dam rose to 99.7% overnight.
On January 17 two sluice gates were opened at 20:00 to 400mm each releasing approximately 58m³/s water as the dam rose to 98.4%.
