‘Think of happy thoughts and you’ll fly’ ‒ don’t miss this show

Don’t miss out on this show on November 5, for one night only, make the time to come and fly away into the world of fantasy and wonder.

‘You know the place between sleep and awake, the place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s the place where it all happens, and that’s where we will be waiting…’

These lines come from the dancers from Celeste Mouton School of Dance, who will be presenting the famous story of Peter Pan.

Playing the lead role of Peter Pan is Jonathan Victor, who started dancing in 2017 when he was 11 years old.

“I started dancing because it allows me to express my feelings without the use of words, only music and movement,” Jonathan said.

His favourite quote from Peter Pan is ‘I’ll teach you how to jump on the wind’s back, and then away we go’.

Nkateko Matjokane is playing Disney’s favourite fairy, Tinkerbell in the show.

She started dancing in 2011 when she was only four years old.

“I love to dance because it gives me a chance to share a piece of my soul with the world through movement. Dance has taught me a lot in life, self-confidence, and learning to listen to my emotions and to understand my feelings,” Nkateko said.

Mia De Kock is dancing in the role of Michael, the youngest boy of the Darling family in the Peter Pan show.

The role of John Darling will be performed by Izabelle Coetzer, and Kai van Wyk will be dancing the role of Wendy Darling.
